In the last twelve months due to large scale expansion on dairy farms we have found the common pump and pressure vessel unsatisfactory in supplying water to meet the demands required. Therefore it is now becoming general practice to install 220v/400v pumps. This allows for larger pumps up to 10hp to be installed with a 220v electricity supply. This is possible by the use of inverters – these devices control the speed of the pump to maintain a constant pressure on the line at all times regardless of requirements. This system means less surges in pressure and also provides the most efficient method of pumping water available leading to savings in energy.

High Volume Medium Pressure Systems are usually installed in the parlour to move large volumes of slurry quickly. They are also used to wash out factories and cattle transportation vehicles. Typical pressures are between 4.5 to 6.5 bar with flows up to 12m3 per hour.
Low Volume High Pressure Systems are usually installed in the pit of the parlour. They can be hot or cold systems. Flow is usually up to 24 litres per minute with pressures up to 3000psi. These systems are especially useful for washing the equipment within the parlour while also saving considerable usage on water.
PTO & Electric Systems - We are agents for Hawk PTO Washers and Lavor Hot and Cold High Pressure Electric Washers. We also stock a large range of spare parts for all leading makes of power washers and carry out service and repairs on all makes.
Parlour Hot Wash Systems are usually installed in the dairy. The hot wash system is usually installed with drop points in the pit and wash points within the building. This system enables good hygiene practices to be kept while milking and washing the parlour.
